the crowd went up to Eleven

No Not 11 Volume wise (Spinal Tap reference for those who haven't seen it) its went upto eleven people and one of those was the Singers girlfriend.

We originally paid to see Motorheadcase and Megadeath UK, we only paid £8 for the tickets which i thought wasn't bad. I was looking forward mostly to seeing the Megadeath UK as i only know about 5 of 6 tracks by Motorhead. Sadly when we got to the doors there was a notice saying Megadeath UK had cancelled but the price was still £8. Not quite as good a deal but we were already there.

When we went in there was only 2 other punters in the bar and three staff but we assumed most would turn up later just before the band came on and they did all 4 of them! and a girlfriend of one of the band members.

I actually feel sorry for the band as besides the 4 of us who were mostly looking forward to the megadeth covers band, They seemed to be enjoying themselves and as far as i could tell played the stuff pretty well. I did enjoy the gig despite only knowing about 6 or maybe 7 of the songs, I would now include a set list but i can't remember the names.

The Highlight of the set for me was Whiplash followed by Orgasmatron as this was the only points where i knew 2 songs back to back. Others i remember were Stay Clean, Killed by Death and of course Ace of Spades, There were a couple more but "I've Slept since then" and i'd had some beer last night .

I'd recommend Motorheadcase as they seemed decent enough but ideally if you know more of the catalogue, All in all it was a good night and we, i say we i actually mean Emma managed to get "Black Curtains" played in the Dove and Rainbow just before we left to come home.

We're out for a curry and a few beers (or 6) in Snafu There is a Band on as well so i'll see what they have to offer.
