Grand Theft Auto IV

I recently bought GTA IV for the purposes of playing it on a LAN and hadn't tried running it until today and i can say what a rigmarole. I use Steam for a lot of games and bought GTA IV through that to save some hassle of having to set up a seperate account….. how wrong i was.

I tried running the game and first of all it wanted me to join the "Rockstar Social Club" which sounds like a facebook for groupies of some un-named band however i signed up…. then it tells me i have to link it to my Windows Live Gaming acocount and then because i hadn't set up a gamertag before i had to do that as well, all just to play the game over a LAN.

Why the F**k can't all the games makers get together and make ONE SYSTEM that works accross all multiplayer games it would be so Much Easier……and breathe.

Still we have only played it 3 players so far trying it out before everyone else arrives and ut seems to be a good laugh multiplayer and I'm looking forward to trying it with 6 later on.
